Maharashtra’s Maratha reservation has been granted by the administration of Eknath Shinde. While commented on this, the former chief minister Uddhav Thackeray said that everyone is aware of what the Chief Minister is, how he is, what is his history. Today he has announced this Maratha Aarakshan bill and we all have supported it.
He made this announcement today, and we all agreed with it. However, it would be helpful to know where and how many individuals would be employed as soon as feasible. Uddhav Thackeray stated that the populace does not trust the Chief Minister in response to a query. According to the Chief Minister, all of his promises have been fulfilled, but the public is not yet ready to accept this.
Bill for Maratha Reservation Adopted On Tuesday, the Maharashtra Assembly overwhelmingly approved a bill that would provide the Maratha minority 10% reservation in government employment and education. During a one-day special session of the legislature on Maratha reservation, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde introduced the Maharashtra State Socially and Educationally Backward Bill 2024 in the House.
The measure also suggests that reservations be reviewed ten years after they are put into effect. Manoj Jarange, a Maratha reservation activist, has been fasting since February 10 and has called for a special session to discuss this matter.
According to a draft notification released by the government, blood relatives of a Maratha individual who can provide solid evidence proving their membership in the farmer Kunbi clan will also be granted a Kunbi caste certificate. Since the Kunbi community is classified as Other Backward Class (OBC), Jarange was requesting that all Marathas be given Kunbi certificates.
