IPL 2024 Killing Cricket?
Indian Premier League 17th edition schedule had been announced on 22nd February, Thursday. The IPL board announced the first phase of the schedule for the IPL 2024.
First match will be played between MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings and Faf du plesis’s Royal Challengers Bangalore. Chennai’s Chepauk stadium had been decided as venue for this match.
This match will start from 8pm. From the next day, afternoon matches are scheduled at 3:30pm and the evening one’s are at 7:30pm.
However, inspite of the general elections, the schedule only released for the first 21 matches. These matches will be played between 22nd March and 7th april.
In these 2 weeks of time, 21 matches will be played at 10 Venues in 10 states.
Moreover, Delhi capitals will play their home ground matches in Vizag stadium. By the way, according to the IPL board, the next schedule for the rest of IPL matches will be relesed later.
