Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has once again lashed out at Pakistan for fostering cross-border terrorism. He warned that if they try to destabilize India with armed groups, the consequences will be severe. He said that if Pakistan feels that it is not possible for them, then India will be ready to help.
The Union Minister made these comments in an interview given to a national media channel as part of the general election campaign. On this occasion, recalling the days of Emergency, he criticized the opposition Congress. “I was not even given parole to go to my mother’s funeral during the emergency. But now they (Congress) are calling us dictators”, Rajnath said. The full interview of the Union Minister will be telecast this evening.
It is known that the defense minister has recently indirectly issued strict warnings to Pakistan regarding terrorist attacks. He warned the neighboring country. While responding to an article published in the UK media that claimed New Delhi was responsible for the unexplained deaths of terrorists in Pakistan, Rajnath declared, “We will appropriately respond to any terrorist who attempts to disrupt the peace in our nation.” Even if they flee to Pakistan, they will not be spared. We will go there and make him pay.” He clarified that India will never attack any country or try to occupy their territories.
