Ayodhya Ram Mandir will now have darshan of gold from the Ramayana. On the occation of the first day of Navratri, the golden Ramayana was kept for darshan on a stone in the Ayodhya Ram temple. This Ramayan has been gifted to Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust by Subramaniam Lakshmi Narayan, Madhya Pradesh cadre Ex-IAS, and his wife Saraswati. It is placed at a distance of 15 feet from Ramlal’s idol in the sanctum sanctorum.
Made by 151 KG copper and 3-4 KG gold:
The approximate weight of the golden Ramayana is 1.5 quintals. It is made of copper and gold. 151 kg of copper and 3 to 4 kg of gold have been used to make the Ramayana. Each page of Ramayana made by 3 kg copper and plated with 24 carat gold. The pages are scripted with holy verses; every page contains 10,902. Former IAS Subramaniam Lakshmi Narayan and his wife Saraswati were also present at the Ram temple on Tuesday while inaugurating this Sculpted Ramayana. As per reports, Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers, Chennai, sculpted the Ramayana.
Darshan will be held for up to 20 hours on Ramnavami:
On the occasion of Ram Navami, darshan will be available for 20 hours in Ayodhya Ram Temple. This arrangement will remain from April 15th to April 17th. During this time, the system of paas se darshan will be suspended. Ram Navami will be broadcast live on LED screens at 100 locations in Ayodhya. It takes about four hours in the morning, afternoon, and night of Raag Bhog and Sringar of Ramla. Apart from this, 20 hours of darshan will be arranged. He advised the devotees to come to the temple by keeping their mobile phones, shoes, and bags.
This will make darshan easier and take less time. Drinking water will be provided at 50 places, from the Ram Janmabhoomi path to the temple premises, for devotees. A jute carpet will be laid. A German hanger for shade is being applied. Along with Prasad, ORS Ghool will also be given to the devotees. So that they get energy in the summer. On the occasion of Ram Navami, the pass system will be canceled from April 15th to April 18th. Those who have already booked have also been cancelled.
