Indian star pacer Jasprit Bumrah joined his IPL franchise, Mumbai Indians (MI), training camp. He is getting ready for the latest IPL season. In last year, Jasprit Bumrah missed the tournament due to a back stress injury. The star pacer made his debut in 2013 with MI.
Jasprit Bumrah appeared in 120 matches for the franchise, in which he bagged 145 wickets at an economy of 7.4. MI shared the news of Jasprit Bumrah joining the training camp in its official social media handle. “Lion is here,” MI captioned the post on X.

Jasprit Bumrah joining the team made fans very happy as they missed their star pacer last season. With Bumrah, MI bowling will be more formidable than last season for sure. The 17th season of the IPL started on Friday, with defending champions CSK taking on RCB at MA Chidambaram Stadium.
Mumbai Indians will start their campaign against Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday. MI reached the knockout stages of the league last year. However, they were unable to go the distance and claim their sixth title as they were defeated by Gujarat Titans in Qualifier 2. The Mumbai-based franchise finished fourth in the rankings.
