The Bharatiya Rastra Samithi leader and Siddipet MLA, Harish Rao, slammed the Congress government over the salary issue of government workers.
He said that the Congress government had failed to fulfill its promise to the mid-day meal workers.
On Wednesday, the ex-minister posted a tweet on platform ‘X’ and wrote, “The midday meal workers engaged in government schools were waiting for the last three months for their salaries.
The Congress government, which had promised payment of salaries on the first of every month, has failed to fulfill it.”
He further mentioned that the bills for cooking charges and eggs secured for mid-day meals have been pending for these months.
As per the records, 10,632 employees of Sarva Siksha Abhiyan haven’t received their December 2023 salaries yet. Subsequently, 12,660 employees didn’t receive salaries for the month of January.
Moreover, those workers are not aware, and they are uncertain about the date of their salary payments this month too.
Harish Rao concluded his post by calling the government a failure in paying salaries. He requested that the government make such payments immediately to the poor workers.
