Mumbai Indians pacer Jasprit Bumrah had an extraordinary performance against Bengaluru in the 25th match of the Indian Premier League at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday. This is the second time he has taken a five-wicket haul (5 wickets) in IPL. He scalped the wickets of Virat Kohli, Duplessis, Mahipal Lamror, Saurabh Chauhan, and Vijaykumar Vaisakh. Before Bumrah, James Falconer, Jaydev Unadkat and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were also took ‘5 wickets’ twice in the IPL. In this sequence, he also became the first bowler to take five wickets against Bengaluru. He also became the bowler who took the most wickets against RCB, with 29 wickets. With 26 wickets each, Ravindra Jadeja and Sandeep Sharma are in second place. In the history of IPL, Bumrah took a total of 155 wickets. With this, he entered the list of top-10 wicket takers in the tournament. With this, he surpassed Harbhajan Singh (150 wickets).
Bowling In T20s Is Not Easy:
After the match against Bengaluru, Bumrah reacted to his performance. He said that bowling in T20s is not an easy thing. “It is a pleasure to give a quality performance once again. I didn’t enter the arena with the aim of taking five wickets. In the first 10 overs, the bowlers got support from the pitch. I took advantage of it. Bowling in the T20 format is very difficult. To get the result in our favor, the bowlers should definitely show variety. Must try hard to bowl different deliveries. Even if we bowl as planned, if there is no cooperation from the pitch, the batters will destroy the bowling. Lessons should be learned from such matches. Preparation is always the key to performing well. One should practice continuously. It is a mistake to think that wickets will come only through yorkers. Sometimes short balls will also earn wickets. Bowling at a speed of 145 km is a good thing, but depending on the situation, it is also important to bowl slow deliveries,” Bumrah said.
Some More Special Mentions Of The MIvsRCB Match:

With this win, Mumbai recorded it’s 50th win at Wankhede. Mumbai became the first team in the IPL to reach the 50-win mark at a single ground.
