GT vs RCB: In a dominant display, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) outclassed Gujarat Titans (GT) by 9 wickets in their IPL 2024 encounter at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Batting first, GT posted a formidable 200/3 on the back of impressive half-centuries from Sai Sudharsan (84* off 49) and Shahrukh Khan (58 off 30).
However, RCB’s chase was spearheaded by a sensational unbeaten century from Englishman Will Jacks, who smashed 100* off just 41 balls, including 10 sixes.
Virat Kohli also played a crucial role, scoring a fluent 70* off 44 deliveries. The duo put on an unbeaten 166-run partnership for the second wicket to guide RCB to the target with 24 balls to spare.

Kohli, the current Orange Cap holder, was particularly impressive against the spinners, employing the sweep shot to great effect.
Jacks then took over in the final overs, smashing Rashid Khan for four sixes and a four in the 16th over to seal the victory.
The win was a much-needed boost for RCB, who have endured an inconsistent season so far. In contrast, GT’s inconsistent form continued as they suffered their sixth loss in 10 matches.
The performance of Jacks and Kohli will be a huge positive for RCB as they look to build momentum and push for a playoff spot in the latter half of the tournament.
