An IED blast at the Rameswaram Café in Bengaluru at mid-Friday brought the city to the headlines. As per the police reports, an unknown man left a bag with an IED time bomb at the café that caused the blast. After the incident, the state and central agencies started investing in the area, along with the police and forensic teams.
While reacting to the incident, CM Siddaramaiah promised definite action on the bomb blast and affirmed that the accused would be severely punished. While pointing to the opposition, the CM urged them not to make politics over this incident and called for unity.
The Congress leader asserted that there were incidents of explosions in previous governments too. “This blast happened in our govt. We assure the people of Karnataka that a definite disciplinary and severe action will be taken against the culprits.” He added.
