Delhi Minister Atishi Marlina said that four more leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party will be arrested before the Parliament elections begin. She stated that her name is on the list along with Saurabh Bharadwaj, Durgesh Pathak, and Raghav Chadha. Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Atishi alleged that the Enforcement Directorate mentioned her name along with Saurabh Bhardwaj during the court hearing on Monday and that there was a big conspiracy behind it.
“Yesterday in the court, the ED mentioned my name and Saurabh’s name. CBI and ED have had this statement from the beginning, but they have released it now. Because even after the arrest of Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, and Satyendra Jain, the BJP is not able to tolerate our party being united. Atishi alleged that this conspiracy is being hatched to put the leaders behind them in jail. She also made shocking comments that if she wants to save her political career, she was approached by the BJP through a person to leave the Aam Aadmi Party and join them.
Meanwhile, it is known that CM Arvind Kejriwal, who was arrested in the Delhi Liquor Scam case, has disclosed important matters related to Vijay Nair during the ED investigation. ASG SV Raju revealed to the court that the CM stated that he had no contact with Vijay Nair and that he used to report only to Atishi and Saurabh in his cabinet. After their names came out, Atishi’s latest allegations became a topic of discussion.
Will Kejriwal resign?
Kejriwal was placed in judicial custody by the court as part of the investigation into the liquor case. He was shifted to Tihad Jail. Will he resign from the post of CM in this order? Atishi replied to the question. There is no reason for that. There are two provisions regarding this issue. According to the Public Representation Act, if the punishment is more than two years, it is not possible to be a public representative. But Kejriwal was not found guilty. He has a huge majority in the Delhi Assembly. That is why there is no reason for him to resign,” he said. If he resigns, it will be easier for the BJP to topple the opposition governments.
