The Election Commission of India announced the Lok Sabha Election 2024 Schedule. The Commissioner of the EC, Rajiv Kumar, announced the details of the poll schedule. On Saturday at 3 p.m. As per the EC, this term’s Lok Sabha elections will be conducted between April 19, 2024, and June 1, 2024.
The election will be conducted in seven phases. The first phase will be held on April 19. Afterwards, Second Phase: April 25, Third Phase: May 7, Fourth Phase: May 13, Fifth Phase: May 20, Sixth Phase: May 26, Seventh Phase: June 1.
In the first phase, voting for 102 Lok Sabha seats will be held across the country. Subsequently, in the second phase, people will vote in 89 seats, in the third phase, 94 seats, in the fourth phase, 96 seats, in the fifth phase, 49 seats, and in the sixth and seventh phases, 57 seats each. The results will be announced on June 4th.
However, as per the EC’s announcement, some state assembly elections will also be held along with the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh state assembly terms will be completed in June. So, the EC decided to conduct those polls along with the Lok Sabha polls.
