KCR's first rection over Kavitha's arrest
It is known that the ED arrested Telangana MLC Kalvakuntla Kavithaka last month in a money laundering case related to the Delhi liquor scam. In this sequence, for the first time, Telangana former CM KCR reacted to the daughter’s arrest. He said that Kavita’s arrest was completely illegal and that the complete liquor scam was all a hoax. He made these comments at a BRS wide-scale meeting held at Telangana Bhavan on Thursday.
“While we are in government, we sent the police to arrest BL Santosh, a key BJP leader, in a case of buying BRS MLAs. Since then, Prime Minister Modi has been furious with us and wanted to take revenge. So, Kavitha was arrested in the Delhi liquor scam and sent to jail. Kavitha would not have been arrested if we had not filed a case against BL Santosh,” said KCR.
KCR alleged that the central agencies have failed to show even 100 rupees of wrongdoing against Kavitha in the liquor scam case, but she has been implicated and arrested by a conspiracy.
Meanwhile, it is known that the ED arrested MLC Kavitha on March 15 on charges of money laundering in the Delhi liquor scam case. Kavitha is currently in Tihar Jail under judicial custody. It is noteworthy that KCR commented about the arrest of his daughter in this order after more than a month.
